Proffesional Fencing Solutions Kenya

A fence only works if the wire is tight and the posts stay vertical. Most boundaries fail because the posts are shallow or the corners lack bracing. At Farming.co.ke, our strength is the structural build. We handle the excavation, concrete setting, and mechanical straining to ensure your perimeter remains secure year-round.

Our Fence Installation Services

Buying fencing wire is the easy part. Our installation service fixes the common technical errors that lead to sagging:

  • Foundation Depth: We sink fencing posts at least 2.5 feet deep. Every post is anchored in concrete to prevent leaning during the rainy season.
  • Mechanical Tensioning: We use industrial strainers to pull the fencing wire to its limit. This prevents humans or animals from pushing the wire down.
  • Corner Bracing: Every corner and gate post is reinforced with a diagonal strut (support). This stops the tension from pulling the posts inward.
  • Electrical Calibration: For electrical fences, we install the energizer and proper earthing. This ensures the shock is effective and the system is protected against lightning.

Common Farm & Plot Estimates

Cost to fence a 100 by 100 plot in Kenya

For a standard 120-meter perimeter, a complete chain link fence with concrete posts and labor typically costs between Ksh 95,000 and Ksh 140,000.

Cheapest type of fencing

Barbed wire on treated wooden posts is the cheapest fence option for a farm. It is the standard for defining large agricultural boundaries on a budget.

Fencing required for 1 acre

A square 1-acre plot has a perimeter of roughly 260 meters. This requires 15 to 18 rolls of chain link and 85 to 90 posts (spaced 3 meters apart).
